Welcome back to normal routines after the bumpy half-term hols. Here are the session times for the Sunday diving sessions (starting THIS SUNDAY) at Park Road Baths for the next school term. A reminder that fees are payable in advance for each set of sessions. Also, please remember that Sunday sessions run from 10.45 am until midday, which allows 15 minutes at the start for warm-ups and stretches—these are really important if you want to dive well and safely.

Please note there will be no session on 1/6 as the day before we’re planning to take a team of divers to represent Hackney at the London Youth Games on 31st of May at Hornchurch Sports Centre. In order to compete we need at least four divers (one boy, one girl in each of the over 15 and under 15 categories.) At present we do not have more than a couple of divers who can perform the necessary two dives off the 1-metre board at least. But we still have a few weeks to get there and we hope to have members of our team from last year back to represent us again. Either way, we’re planning to take a squad of divers and supporters along on the day for the fun and the experience. Will keep you posted.
