Jim Savory gala 2005

Dear swimmers,

Congratulations to everyone who swam in the Jim Savory gala.

As a team, we came in 4th place which is a really good result for us. We haven't come higher than last place in a non graded gala for a very long time, so it looks as though this is the start of great things to come!

The final scores were:

Anaconda: 98
Westminster: 122
Cheshunt: 134
Clissold: 227
Edmonton Phoenix: 232
Broomfield Park: 292

We didn't get any first places but we did get some 2nd and 3rd places:

Abigail 2nd in 3L U14 breaststroke and 3rd in 3L U14 freestyle
Sarah 2nd in 1L U12 breaststroke
Hannah 2nd in 1L U14 fly
Matilda 3rd in 1L U12 freestyle
The girls U12 team (Sarah, Matilda, Kassia, Demera) 3rd in both medley and freestyle relays
The girls Open freestyle relay team (Katie, Jasmine, Abigail, Chelache) - 3rd.

so a particular well done to those swimmers but also to everyone in the team
