Leyton SC hosted Graded League gala November 2007
Dear swimmers,
Congratulations on a great performance on Saturday! As you know we won the gala with a score of 139 points. This is the best score of any team in the 9 galas held in this year's graded league season and wins us the Points Cup. We finished the league 3rd overall (out of 9) behind Leyton SC and Northolt Phoenix SC.
The result on Saturday was due to us achieving 1st, 2nd or 3rd places in 31 of the 46 events, with only 3 upgrades and 1 disqualification.

- Demera - 100m freestyle and 25m backstroke
- Ella & Fred - both in50m freestyle
- Gaspar - 25m freestyle
- Safaa - 50m backstroke
- Ben - 25m backstroke
- Matilda - 25m breaststroke
- Thomas - 25m fly

- Thomas, Max, Fred & Joe - 4 x 50m freestyle
- James, Max, Ethan &Thomas - 4 x 25m freestyle
- Adam, James, Dan & Gaspar - 4 x 25m medley
Second places went to:
- Ben - 50m freestyle
- Devon - 25m freestyle
- Katherine - 50m backstroke
- Adam - 50m breaststroke

- Amina, Katherine, Joanna & Matilda - 4 x 50m freestyle

Third places went to:
- Tao - 50m breastroke & 50m fly
- Amina - 50m breaststroke
- James - 25m breaststroke and 25m freestyle
- Lily - 25m freestyle

Therefore, ALL of you came in the top 3 in at least 1 race and so ALL contributed to the team's success.
Most of you gained PBs in your individual events and Joanna and Adam set new U10 club records in 50m freestyle and 50m breaststroke respectively. The full results sheet is attached - PBs are in bold.
Congratulations to all of you and especial thanks to Joe, Dan, Safaa and Hannah, all of whom stepped in at the last minute and made a real contribution.
